Aaah, sweet: the page is loading correctly. Let's see what's fresh & new today!

4. Browsing Page (1)

So, OK, the phone browser didn't get the /#primarycontent link... Too bad, I need to scroll down.

Well, here you have it: the main problem of phones is the small resolution (208x176).

6. Conclusion

This is where standards like XHTML and CSS play an important role. Although it's certainly not perfect, I have had no problems reading the content. The page loads fast. It's too bad the browser has it's limits, but that's something for the developers to look after.

This browser is called WebViewer for the Nokia 7650 and available for download. Smartphones have only a small marketshare, but is certainly an emerging technology. Standards can make life a lot easier for people browsing the internet on smartphones or PDA's! Let's make it happen!
