Dayatwork.com

Upon finishing their degree, or when still attending university, students are looking intensively for jobs, at multinational companies, consultancies or the government. At the same time these companies want to hire the most talented students. The idea of dayatwork.com is to bring together the latter two groups, with an original, effective and transparent approach.

Goals and Objectives

Students wish to know how their future job will be like. How much do I have to work? Do I work mostly with clients? How many times do I have to attend meetings? To these questions dayatwork.com tries to formulate a clear answer.

Dayatwork.com aims to evolve into a true full service provider for companies that wish to promote their work environment and promote new job openings. This strategy is supported by an active marketing plan and web technology.

Business Model

A business model (also called a business design) is the mechanism by which a business intends to generate revenue and profits. It is a summary of how a company plans to serve its customers. Also, it involves both strategy and implementation. Three of those aspects are shortly described below.

Branding

Dayatwork.com wants to differentiate itself form the current offerings by using bold colors. The logo is both abstract and playful. The branding is a direct reflection of the young and dynamic target group; the young urban professionals. Dayatwork.com wants to be serious, but not boring.

Technology

Technology is very important for dayatwork.com. Its main way of communicating will be its website. Substantial investments will have to be made to assure its quality. An advanced content management system will power most of the website. Companies will have access to a dedicated environment where they can change, add and edit profiles. Students can freely access the portal, or become a member to access premium content.

Financial Planning

Every business model needs a financial plan. We developed a detailed financial plan, covering the first five years of the company's existance. We created detailed balance sheets and on overview of necessary investments and also intial capital that would be needed to start-up. A solid financial plan can convince venture capitalists to invest if they can see that the venture has potential in the next few years.
